The Wanderer's Clasp is a true fibula — the twisted-knotwork pin worn across Northern Europe for a thousand years before buttons were ever imagined. A single tapered shaft threads through the coiled loop and locks under the weight of the fabric itself. No spring to tire, no catch to lose. The tension of the cloth is the mechanism.

How to wear it

Gather the fabric, pass the shaft through both layers, then rotate it under the coil. The heavier the cloth, the tighter it holds. It works equally well on a shawl pinned at the shoulder, a scarf closed at the throat, or a cardigan worn as a wrap.

Care

Wipe with a dry cloth. The darkened recesses are part of the finish and will deepen with wear — polish the raised work only, and leave the shadows alone.
